We deeply studied the use and wear of awning covers in order to enable an optimized use and a longer lifetime.

Cut  :

We chose a cut not too tight in order to ease the implementation. Each cover is equipped with straps in order to stand in case of high wind.

Fabrics :

We are using UV proofed 900D Polyester tough fabric with a PVC inside coating for waterproof. As stitching is always the weak point of covers, we are using a tougher thread zigzag stitched that is UV proofed.

Rain water evacuation system :

After studies on why and where covers were damages through the time, we have conclude that most of the time, it was due to big accumulation of rain water in certain zone that was creating high tension on the cover fabric.


To avoid this, a common solution is to create a tent surface on the cover that avoids water accumulation. But this creates wind hold and tension on the fabric.

Our Innovative patented solution is based on a grid linked to a water pipe that will evacuate the water at the back of the dinghy. 

 


How to install ? : :
Let the boom on the mast connection and pull on the vang to fix it in place. The rear part of the boom lay on the floor of the boat. Attach the cover to the mast, just over boom connection with straps. Attach the cover on the front of the hull. Then attach the cover on the back of the hull, putting the water pipe through back board. Finally, strap the cover with bottom straps.
